My Photos

MY PHOTOS

No blogging, just photos. I figured a date of 01/01/2000 would be an easy way to get a quick link to the photos page. Maybe someday I'll have a real web page {sigh}.

Be sure to also check out my Picasa Photo Page

Here we are at the Napa Tour de Cure charity ride for Diabetes. We raised over $1300 and CJ was AWESOME on the bike.

On top of the world.

This is me (red jersey, black helmet, red Ciocc) in the Sonoma State Criterium, 1988. I was Collegiate Cat C, unattached but I was a student at Santa Rosa Junior College.

This is me at the company picnic 2004.

This is my best bike, a Klein Quantum Pro with Dura Ace and Bontrager Race Lite Wheels.

This is me at the 2003 Tierra Bella Century - my Klein's debut.

This is my foul weather bike; an Eddy Merckx 7-Eleven model with Ultegra 8-speed, sew-ups, and a compact crank.

I sawed the brake bridge off of Dave, my fixie; proving (sort of) that it serves no purpose except to attach a brake to.

Me and Adam at the Napa Tour de Cure 2005. I raised $750 thanks in part to my blog readers!

My daughter and me with our trailer cycle. I'm on my Specialized Rockhopper Comp (citified), and she's on the Giant Halfwheeler aluminum singlespeed.

And here I am honking up The Bump --->

This is Mount Diablo from the Pleasant Hill area - looking southeast. Locals will recognize the dome theater in the foreground.

Here I am at the finish of the 2004 Napa Century. That's my usual century kit - sort of like an impressionistic painting of a Tour de France scene and blue Mapei-Quickstep bibshorts. People frequently mistake me for Tom Boonen.

I have an Excel sheet with the raw data or a .pdf of this profile if you'd like it - just drop me an e-mail.

Also ask for this map in a .pdf, so you can zoom in and read it better.

My greyhound Oberon was the best dog a guy ever had.

A few years ago my parents lived in Carbondale, Colorado next to Rishi Grewal and Tammy Jacques. They humored me with a mountain bike ride though the back country. Very nice couple.

The next year we went back for another visit and Rishi and Tammy’s daughter Sophia had arrived so we had them all for dinner.

Here’s an ad I found with Tammy promoting an energy bar in 1993. She told me she almost made the Olympics but that Paola Pezzo was unbeatable so Tammy wouldn't have won anyway.

I was lucky enough to visit Copenhagen on a business trip a few years ago and snapped this photo at the train station.

My last year at Berkeley I was on the Human Powered Vehicle team. We built this HPV out of carbon fiber and won a collegiate competition.

Not sure where I got this photo, I think someone posted a link somewhere and I copied it.
