Nobody from work except me tonight, got started a little late too. First day of the end of the heat wave.

Wildlife Encounter: black-eared jack rabbit near the loading dock

Roadkill observation: big lizard at Penny Lane

Wildlife Encounter: RATTLESNAKE! Between Penny Lane and the Bump. This was worth stopping for a photo. I think he understood I wasn't going to hurt him but he did a little posturing anyway.
